Filipinos are taking an unprecedented interest in luxury and ultra-luxury real estate.
In condominiums, this segment comprises units priced at P8 million and upwards, while the ultra-luxury territory offers units that go for P20 million or more. People are willing to pay more for such residences as they want to live more healthfully and more luxuriously—and developers are more than happy to indulge them in their aspirations.
Shang Properties Inc., a trusted brand that has ceaselessly pursued “the height of luxury” since 1987, has developments well suited for the most discerning—from offices spaces, malls, to residences. Today, as other players hurriedly tweak their offerings to cater to this growing demand, Shang Properties beckons with a quiet confidence.
Proud examples of its excellence in the luxury and ultra-luxury segments include Shang Residences at Wack Wack and Aurelia Residences, a joint venture with Robinsons Land Corp.
The 50-story Shang Residences at Wack Wack offers a “sanctuary in the city” in Mandaluyong, right beside the iconic and historic Wack Wack Golf & Country Club—not at all out of place in a neighborhood known for its exclusivity. Aurelia Residences, embodying “the art of elegance”, rises within Bonifacio Global City, right within the stomping grounds of some of the most promising and successful people in the country today.
One way the properties deliver on exclusivity—as well as the standards of privacy and space that we have come to cherish even more after the pandemic lockdowns—is through their low-density layouts.
With only a few units sharing each floor and just a few hundred units on offer to start with, both will be communities of the metro’s elite, whose households will enjoy the freedom to mold their spaces according to their distinct wants and needs. The Mandaluyong project will offer just 404 units, while the one in Taguig, which integrates Italian sensibilities, will only have 285 units.
You shouldn’t expect less, too, when it comes to the amenities. Shang Properties, after all, belongs to a bigger brand that boasts of a strong, well-established presence across 78 destinations, and which continues to be globally renowned for its impeccable luxury standards.
That mastery is reflected in the amenities offered by the two projects. Inspired by luxury resorts, Shang Residences at Wack Wack gives homeowners a never-ending vacation with amenities that include a lounge, a function room, a gym with a steam and sauna room, a 20-m lap pool and a children’s area. For Aurelia Residences, you have a multipurpose function space called The Canopy Room that opens out into a resort-like poolside. It also has a state-of-the-art gym and a play area for kids.
For a residence to be truly attractive to homebuyers, it must be well-connected to work-live-play experiences. But at the same time, it should be able to offer a private sanctuary where you can simply de-stress at the end of the day.
Shang Residences at Wack Wack and Aurelia Residences both offer proximity to urban conveniences like malls and other retail spaces, top-tier hospitals and schools, and major routes that lead to other parts of the city or that head out into the countryside. However, they also promise to give their dwellers vistas and lifestyles that help them pivot from their jampacked schedules, and achieve unparalleled rest and relaxation—their slice of paradise amid it all. That is “premium” in its truest sense.
